Earlier this week, Riley courageously saved me from an attack by the dreaded evil roll of paper towels:
“Take that, you evil roll of paper towels!”
“I shall save my beloved Kimberly from your evil power!”
“You shall never threaten her again!”
My hero!

Piper used to demolish paper towel rolls whenever she had the chance. She grew out of it, though.
And we’re not about to get her back in the habit.

What makes this really funny is that Riley never does things like this. He’s about 7 years old now and tends to be very mellow, so to see him shredding the paper towels was a riot :)
