THANK YOU!

Welcome! So you've always wondered what I think about, what my observations on life are, and what I find important, which is why you're here! Or maybe not...

Oh, well...I'm just glad you're here, no matter what the reason may be. This is where I share about what's going on in my life, thoughts and observations, interesting links, and generally meandering rambling. And sometimes, even though I'm a political neophyte I even venture into the world of politics. If you'd like to comment on anything I say, feel free to click on the comments link at the end of each blog entry and comment away.

Font used on this site is Angelina. If you read this blog regularly, please consider downloading the font so that you get the full experience and I feel like my hard work redesigning the blog has been rewarded.

Just for fun :)

Your Brain's Pattern

Your mind is a multi dimensional wonderland, with many layers.

You're the type that always has multiple streams of though going.

And you can keep these thoughts going at any time.

You're very likely to be engaged in deep thought - and deep conversation.

You Are 28 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

How You Are In Love

You take a while to fall in love with someone. Trust takes time.

You tend to give more than take in relationships.

You need your space and privacy. You don't like to be smothered.

You love your partner unconditionally and don't try to make them change.

You stay in love for a long time, even if you aren't loved back. When you fall, you fall hard.

Gummy Bears

You may be smooshie and taste unnatural, but you're so darn cute.

You Are a Daisy

You see the world with an artist's eye.

Finding beauty is easy for you - even in the dullest of moments.

You notice all of the colors of the world, from fresh grass to sunsets.

You are a total optimist and hedonist. You love to drink life in.

Unbelievable...
Yet another example of the 'tolerant' liberal left... Unbelievable. And will there be an apology? Likely not!

On another note, I've collected the sites I visit on a regular basis and combined them on this page.

Repainting
It's been a busy week for me, all leading up to a 3 day weekend in which I finished preparing 3 rooms in my house for repainting, then an entire day with 3 of us repainting my living room, dining room and kitchen, then the 3rd day doing a few finishing touches and putting it all back together.

It was worth it, though! It's almost completely done...all that's left are the baseboards, crown molding and sconces, and then a few small decorating touches in the kitchen.

I took some before photos of the living room and dining room (forgot to take some of the kitchen, but it was so ugly that it would likely have broken the camera) and I took after photos this morning and have them up in an album which is located here. If you click on the thumbnail it'll open the photo in a separate window so you can see more detail.

It's sooooo nice!!!!! I love it!

Caring for our brothers and sisters
Thousands of people have had their lives shattered because of Hurricane Katrina. Now is the time for those of us who can to step up to the plate and give generously to help them, encourage them, give them hope. And to give not just once, but as often as possible.

I've placed a banner for Feed the Children at the top of my blog. Please click on that to go to their website and make as generous a donation as you can.

Let's show God's love - and our love - for our brothers and sisters in need.
