Morning Glories Daily Devotionals
~ January 10 ~

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

~ Hebrews 10:22-23

God is faithful, and His promises are true....we can draw near to Him knowing that He will not turn us away. He knows our frailties, our shortcomings, and yet, He keeps His promises to us.

Right now you might be feeling like a failure. You may have done something so stupid you're afraid to tell anyone about it. You just know that they'll be angry with you and you'll never hear the end of it. You sit alone, desperately looking for a solution, feeling like your life is in shambles. If your family and friends think you are stupid, how can God think anything different? How can you approach the Lord of the universe with this problem of yours, which you've created? Bother God with it??? I can't......I'd be nothing more than a bother, someone who pesters Him to fix something I've messed up...I don't dare....

Dare to approach God! He's there, waiting for you right now.....He already knows all that you've done, and He even knows all that you will do. Don't let your shame, fear or worry keep you from Him. Right now, in the middle of the situation you're in, is when you need Him most. Don't let yourself be robbed of His loving support, His grace, and the opportunity to see His deliverance in your life. God may not solve your problem the way you'd like Him to, but He will solve it in the way that is best for you. Dare to hope, for He who promised is faithful.

In Jesus' name,
Amen.
