Welcome

How I trust my God -
He is so faithful,
His love has seen me through
the darkest times
of my life
and I know
however far away I am,
He is always near.
His compassion reaches out
to enfold me
and He wraps me
in His love,
holds me in His arms
and listens
to the cries of my heart,
then He shows me
a future
He has planned
that will bring
Glory to Him.

In the commonplace thread
of an ordinary day,
I see my God.
He is constant,
abiding with me
in the midst of my work.
His love is shown
in many small ways,
and the quiet support
of His presence
is immeasurable to me.
How I treasure
the time
we spend together
and look forward
to the quiet times
that bring comfort
to my soul.

He's there
when you hurt.
He's there
in your joy.
God is there
whenever you need Him.
In the blackest hour,
in the brightest day,
He's there!

Your Word is alive to me,
Dear Lord.
I see its truth
and I grow to love
it more each day.
The wholeness of Your truth
floods my heart
and brings assurance in times
of trial.
I cling to Your promises
and rejoice in each one.
The wonder of it all
overwhelms me.
You loved us enough
to reveal Yourself to us,
to give us a way
to be with You forever -
rejoicing, loving and praising
Your holy name,
throughout the eons
that lie ahead of us.
Experiencing joy, laughter and
thanksgiving,
but most of all,
to see Your lovely face.

Eternity began today,
and I've chosen to spend it
with my precious Lord.
His love for me is warm
and consuming,
accepting me as I stand
before Him.
I have nothing to give Him,
no riches, no great teachings,
no goodness.
All I can do is love Him
and receive the gift of His Son.
He asks nothing in return
but surrender
to His perfect will.
When I understood the love
He has for me,
the sacrifice He made,
how could I do anything less
than what He asks?
In myself,
I am nothing;
but through Him,
I have all -
an eternal home
with a loving God.
